ZONING HEARING AGENDA
THE EAST MARLBOROUGH TOWNSHIP ZONING HEARING BOARD will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday July 28, 2014, at the East Marlborough Township Building, 721 Unionville Road, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, to hear the following:
THE APPLICATION OF JOSHUA CAUFFMAN. The property is UPI #61-2-22.1, also known as 1460 Embreeville Road. The subject property is owned by the Singer Family Trust and the applicant is the equitable owner. The subject property is located in the Residential District – B (R-B) of the Township. The parcel totals approximately 2.0 acres in area and is improved with several outbuildings, which have been used as a lawn and garden equipment repair shop and sales. The applicant seeks a special exception or other appropriate zoning relief pursuant to §1901.A (Change of non-conforming use) of the East Marlborough Township Zoning Ordinance to change one non-conforming use (Lawn mower repair) to another non-conforming use (Landscape company), where such uses are not otherwise permitted in the Residential District – B (R-B) of the Township. In addition, the applicant seeks a special exception pursuant to §1904.C (Non-conforming signs) of the East Marlborough Township Zoning Ordinance to change or replace a non-conforming sign.
The Board may consider other such matters as may properly come before it.
