THE EAST MARLBOROUGH TOWNSHIP ZONING HEARING BOARD will meet on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 7:00 p.m., prevailing time, at the East Marlborough Township Building, 721 Unionville Road, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, to hear the following:
THE APPLICATION OF JEFFREY AND SARAH DYE. The parcel is UPI No. 61-2-111, also known as 1774 West Doe Run Road. The Applicants are the equitable owners of the subject parcel, which is approximately 2.0 acres in area. The parcel is located in the RB-Residential District of the Township and is currently improved with a single-family detached dwelling and driveway. The Applicants seek a special exception pursuant to §502.B.1 (Uses by Special Exception) of the East Marlborough Township Zoning Ordinance to permit the conversion of the existing single-family dwelling to an Accessory Dwelling Unit, following the construction of an additional single-family dwelling on the property, and any other relief that may be necessary.
THE APPLICATION OF DANIEL AND ELIZABETH MARTIN. The parcel is UPI No. 61-5-81.3H also known as 107 West Clay Creek Lane. The subject parcel is owned by the Applicants and is approximately 3.4 acres in area. The parcel is located in the RB-Residential District of the Township and is currently improved with a single-family detached dwelling, driveway, swimming pool and shed. The Applicants seek a variance from §503.G (Accessory Buildings and Structures) of the East Marlborough Township Zoning Ordinance to permit construction of a three story detached garage that will be located within the front yard, where it is otherwise not permitted to be located, and any other relief that may be necessary.
The Board may consider other such matters as may properly come before it.
