The Historical Architectural Review Board will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2021 to review applications for Certificates of Appropriateness. The Application of Jake and Susan Elks, 37 Buffington Street (UPI No. 61-2N-41), seeks to renovate the existing home by extending the third floor. The Application of Doe Run Properties, LLC., 1702 West Doe Run Road (UPI No. 61-2N-44), seeks to erect a 4 ft. high picket fence along the roadway and a 6 ft. high privacy fence adjacent to a neighbor. The Application of Doe Run Properties, LLC., 9 Buffington Street (UPI No. 61-2N-32.1), seeks to erect a 4 ft. high privacy fence adjacent to a neighbor. The meeting will be conducted remotely/virtually due to the Pennsylvania and Chester County health emergencies related to the COVID-19 virus. The public may listen in and/or participate in the meeting through the remote access platform, instructions on how to join the meeting will be posted at the municipal building (721 Unionville Road, Kennett Square, PA 19348), as well as on the Township’s website (www.eastmarlborough.org) and Facebook page (@EastMarlboroughTownship).
