DESCRIPTION:SPECIAL MEETING                                                                                        December 23, 2020\nBOARD OF SUPERVISORS                                                                                            7:30 P.M.\n721 Unionville Road\nKennett Square, PA 19348\n \n\nCALL TO ORDER\n\nPresent:                                               Township Staff & Consultants:\nChairman McKinstry                          Neil Lovekin, Township Manager\nVice-Chairman Sarro                          Hannah Christopher, Township Treasurer\nSupervisor Matuszak                         Robert Clarke, Chief of Police\nSupervisor Monahan                           Jeff Simpson, Public Works Director\nSupervisor Vannote\n \n\nPUBLIC COMMENT \n\n \nShelley Mincer questioned the status of the demolition of the buildings by the pot office.\n \n \n\nGENERAL DISCUSSION\n\n \n\nUPCOMING EVENTS \n\n \n\nThere are none.\n\n \n\nANNOUNCEMENTS\n\n \n\nManager Lovekin announced that the draft 2021 budget has been available for public inspection at the township building and on the township website since December 2nd.\n\n \n\n2021 BUDGET ADOPTION\n\n \nTownship Manager, Neil Lovekin presented the 2021 budget and reviewed each line item. A \nmotion was made by Supervisor Sarro, seconded by Supervisor Monahan, and carried by a vote of 5-0 to adopt the 2021 Budget as presented.\n \n\nADJOURNMENT\n\n \nAll business having been discussed, a motion was made by Supervisor Monahan, seconded by \nSupervisor Vannote. Motion carried 5-0 to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 8:29 p.m.\n \n \n \nRespectfully submitted,\n \n \nHannah Christopher\nTreasurer/Assistant Township Manager\n \n \n \nThe 2021 Budget for East Marlborough Township is available for public inspection at the Township Building, 721 Unionville Road, Kennett Square, PA 19348 and viewable at the below link. The Board of Supervisors will hold a special meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 to consider the adoption of the proposed 2021 Budget. The special meeting will be conducted remotely/virtually due to the Pennsylvania and Chester County health emergencies related to the COVID-19 virus.
