DESCRIPTION:SPECIAL MEETING                                                                                          December 2, 2020\nBOARD OF SUPERVISORS                                                                                            7:00 P.M.\n721 Unionville Road\nKennett Square, PA 19348\n \n\nCALL TO ORDER\n\nPresent:                                               Township Staff & Consultants:\nChairman McKinstry                          Neil Lovekin, Township Manager\nVice-Chairman Sarro                          Hannah Christopher, Township Treasurer\nSupervisor Monahan                           Robert Clarke, Chief of Police\nSupervisor Vannote                            Jeff Simpson, Public Works Director\n \n\nPUBLIC COMMENT\n\n \n\nThere was no public comment.\n\n \n\nGENERAL DISCUSSION\n\n \n\nUPCOMING EVENTS \n\n \n\nThere are none.\n\n \n\nANNOUNCEMENTS\n\n \n\nManager Lovekin announced that the draft 2021 budget is available for public inspection at the township building and on the township website.\n\n \n\n2021 BUDGET DISCUSSION\n\n \nTownship Manager, Neil Lovekin presented the 2021 budget and reviewed each line item. Another special meeting was called for December 23rd at 7:30 p.m.  This meeting will be a virtual public meeting and advertised accordingly. \n \n\nADJOURNMENT\n\n \nAll business having been discussed, a motion was made by Supervisor Monahan, seconded by Supervisor Vannote. Motion carried 4-0 to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 p.m.\n \n \nRespectfully submitted,\n \n \nHannah Christopher\nTreasurer/Assistant Township Manager\n \nThe Board of Supervisors will hold a special meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 to consider the proposed budget for East Marlborough Township for fiscal year 2021 for public inspection prior to adoption before December 31, 2020. The special meeting will be conducted remotely/virtually due to the Pennsylvania and Chester County health emergencies related to the COVID-19 virus.
