NOTICE
THE EAST MARLBOROUGH TOWNSHIP ZONING HEARING BOARD will meet at 7:00 p.m. onWednesday, June 7, 2017 at the East Marlborough Township Building, 721 Unionville Road, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, to hear the following:
THE APPLICATION OF DOUGLAS C. WHITE. The subject parcels are UPI Nos. 61-5-209, 61-5-209.2, 61-5-209.3 and 61-5-209.4, which parcels total approximately 34.781 acres located on Gale Lane at the intersection of North Walnut Road. The parcels are owned by Everlast, Inc., and Douglas C. White is the equitable owner of the subject property, which is located in the Limited Industrial (L-I) Zoning District of the Township. The applicant seeks a variance from §1809.A (Use Regulations) of the East Marlborough Zoning Ordinance to permit the disturbance of steep slopes greater than 20% to permit grading and the installation of utilities, sidewalks, walking trails, driveways and a public/private road in the course of the development of the subject property for 27 two-family residential dwelling units, and any other relief that may be necessary.
THE APPLICATION OF RICHARD AND KATHY PRATT. The subject parcels are UPI Nos. 61-5-152 and 61-5-152.2, also known as 649 and 650 Unionville Road, respectively. The subject parcels are owned by the applicants. UPI No. 61-5-152 is approximately 31 acres in area and is utilized as a commercial business (RP Nursery). UPI No. 61-5-152.2 is approximately 2.1 acres in area and is improved with a single-family detached dwelling. Both parcels are located in the Residential – B (R-B) Zoning District of the Township. The applicants seek a variance from §1903.A (Non-Conforming Lots) of the East Marlborough Zoning Ordinance to permit a lot line adjustment to add a portion of UPI No. 61-5-152.2 to UPI No. 61-5-152 for buffering and maintenance; applicants also seek a variance from §1705.G (General Regulations) to permit the relocation of a business sign where a sign shall be erected only on the premises on which the use to which the sign relates is conducted, and any other relief that may be necessary.
The Board may consider other such matters as may properly come before it.
