THE EAST MARLBOROUGH TOWNSHIP ZONING HEARING BOARD will meet at 7:00 p.m. onThursday, April 6, 2017 at the East Marlborough Township Building, 721 Unionville Road, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, to hear the following:
THE APPLICATION OF ORCHARD VALLEY HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION. The parcel is UPI No. 61-6Q-17, also known as Route 1 and Orchard Avenue. The subject parcel is owned by Orchard Valley Homeowners Association and is approximately 18.4 acres in area. The subject parcel is located in the Residential Multi-Family (R-M) Zoning District of the Township and is improved with a townhome subdivision. The applicant seeks a variance from §1703 (Signs in Non-Commercial Districts) of the East Marlborough Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of a monument sign that exceeds the maximum permitted size of 20 square feet, and any other relief that may be necessary.
THE APPLICATION OF ATTILIO SALOMONE. The parcel is UPI No. 61-2-120, also known as 129 E. Doe Run Road. The subject parcel is owned by the applicant and is approximately 3.1 acres in area. The subject parcel is located in the Residential – B (R-B) Zoning District of the Township and is improved with a single-family detached dwelling, driveway and accessory building. The applicant seeks a variance from §1823.B.1 (Fence and Wall Regulations) of the East Marlborough Zoning Ordinance to permit the installation of a six (6) foot privacy fence along the rear property line where the maximum fence height is four (4) feet, and any other relief that may be necessary.
The Board may consider other such matters as may properly come before it.
